Home Pro range : stainless steel filter holder

 

We only use the Stainless Steel Filter Holder(including the 1 and 2 coffee spouts) in the entire Home Pro range (Dream One / Pid, ​​Steel) and Professional (Bar, Baby T, Barista T, Big Dream) range.

We stopped using brass and chrome on this key component. The advantages are multiple:

Health. Stainless steel is the food material par excellence. Even with the use of low lead brass, there are metal migrations in the beverage. We also remove the chrome, which ends up in the cup. The traditional chrome-plated brass filter holder is black on the inside in a few weeks, while the stainless steel one is unalterable over time.

Quality of material. Stainless steel is a much harder material than brass. Its lifespan is much longer.

Cleaning. Much easier to clean and more resistant.

Dream PID : Barista Session.

We have recorded a “Barista” training session with Sergi Egea, barista, roaster and expert in Specialty Coffee from Animal Coffee (Barcelona). We use a blend roasted in Barcelona from 3 origins, beans from Brazil, Colombia and Nicaragua.

Hemos filmado una sesión “Barista” con Sergi Egea, barista, torrefactor y experto en Café de Especialidad, de Animal Coffee (Barcelona).

The smell of coffee floated through the air of the set. We used a Burundi , a very complex honey process coffee with unique notes of vanilla and orange, which required a machine with particularly good thermal stability.
